Laura Pettinelli is a 2L at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and is the Academic and Professionalism Chair of the Latino/a Law Students Association for 2016/2017. Laura majored in Latin American and Hemispheric Studies and Middle East Studies and minored in Spanish at The George Washington University, from where she graduated in 2012. During undergrad, Laura studied abroad in Menton, France at Sciences Po and worked at various think-tanks and non-profit organizations. After graduating, Laura worked for the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) at The World Bank Group. Laura spent the past summer at JPMorgan Chase in NYC and will be a law clerk at the Environmental Protection Agency this semester. She enjoys practicing languages, especially when this involves traveling, pilates, photography, and getting lost in cities.
